INGREDIENTS
11/2 cup basmati rice
½ cup carrots, boiled and chopped
2 potatoes, boiled and cubed
½ cup green peas, boiled
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 onion, sliced
3 tbsp ghee or butter
Salt to taste
METHOD
Cook rice with little salt in a rice cooker.
Melt ghee in a big vessel, fry onions untill golden brown
Add vegetables to the remaining ghee, sauté for a minute.
Then add cooked rice, tomato ketchup and salt to taste.
Mix well and sprinkle and fried onions on the top
Serve hot with coconut curry
